Client Brief
This one-off live music extravaganza saw artists coming together across the country in support of Minding Creative Minds and the Association of Irish Stage Technicians (AIST) Hardship Fund. The event was simul-broadcasted across RTÉ 2, RTÉ 2FM and RTÉ Player, featuring performances from some of Ireland’s finest talent. Among the performers were Gavin James, Bressie, Picture This and Denise Chaila.
Hosted by Jenny Greene and Eoghann McDermott, the event shone a light on the impact of Covid-19 on the events industry. Ten Feet Tall founder, Ashlee Dickinson was one of the key industry representatives who has lobbied in support of funding from the Government.
The impact
The event raised over €400,000 for the Irish Events Industry, which included a generous donation from U2 following a performance by Bono and the Edge on the night. President Michael D. Higgins applauded the efforts of the organisers in a special video message broadcasted during the show, highlighting the importance and vitality of the arts in Ireland.
